Cindy Abreu-Maia, age 41 of South River passed away peacefully on Monday September 18, 2023 at The Elms of Cranbury, surrounded by her loving family. She was a lifelong resident of South River.
Cindy was a hairdresser at Salan G in Edison, NJ. Cindy loved shopping and getting a good deal!
She is predeceased by her father, Joao Abreu. Cindy is survived by her husband Nuno Maia, her daughter and light of her life Eva, her mother Elisabete Troca, her sister Cristina Abreu, her nephew and niece Tyler and Breona, as well as many aunts, uncles, & cousins.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 22, 2023, 9:30am from the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Avenue South River, with a 10am funeral mass at St. Mary of Ostrabrama R.C. Church in South River with a burial to follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 4pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
