Obituary for Christopher M Hinds
Christopher M. Hinds, age 35, devoted dad and husband, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, September 17, 2022. Born in Perth Amboy, Chris grew up in Parlin and attended Sayreville War Memorial High School followed by Montclair State. After marrying his wife, Heather, he moved to Old Bridge and resided there with his one year old daughter, Violet.
Chris worked as a property manager with Metro Self Storage in Springfield. He was an avid Jet and Yankee fan and will be dearly missed at his family’s Sunday football gatherings. Chris loved music ranging from Classic Rock, Punk Pop and Soca and was always in the middle of the dance floor at his family’s annual New Year’s Eve parties. He loved his large extended family to whom he was dedicated. Chris was a giant teddy bear, with the largest heart and Heather and Violet were the center of his world.
Chris is preceded in death by his grandparents Theodore Hartman, and Mortley and Mintrude Hinds. Surviving are his wife Heather Giordano Hinds, one year old daughter Violet, parents Randolph and Patricia, sister Lauren Esposito, brother in law Nick, grandmother Patricia Hartman, and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
A memorial visitation will take place Thursday from 4pm to 8pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin. A memorial Mass will take place on Friday at St. Bernadette’s RC Church in Parlin at 9:30am
