Christopher J. Metz, age 47 of Old Bridge, passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Born in South Amboy, he had lived in Sayreville before moving to Old Bridge several years ago. Chris was an IT manager for High Grade Beverage in Monmouth Junction. He was an avid NY Mets fan and Dallas Cowboys fan. He was also an avid bowler, bowling a 300. Chris was a loyal friend and family man. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his wife Jennifer and daughter Taylor.
He is predeceased by his father John in 2005.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 23 years, Jennifer, his loving daughter Taylor, his mother Linda, his brothers John, Kenneth and his wife Cindy, Matthew, many loving nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law and friends who will miss him dearly.
Visitation at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin will be Saturday from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. A prayer service will take place at 12:00pm. A private cremation will follow.
