Monroe Township
Charlotte D. Gutkowski age 90 of Monroe Township passed away Sunday January 10, 2015 at her home. Born in Sayreville she had resided there before moving to Monroe Township 40 years ago. Before her retirement she was employed for 42 years at E. I. Du Pont Photo Products in Parlin as a book keeper and was a member of the Du Pont 10 and 25 year clubs as well as the Rossmoor Golf Club. Charlotte was a former communicant of Saint Stanislaus Kostka R. C. Church in Sayreville.
She is predeceased by her husband Theodore W. Gutkowski in 2002, her parents Joseph & Stacia Dockiewicz, and her siblings Petronela Suchowicki, Paul Dockiewicz, Steve Dockiewicz, Joseph Dockiewicz, Anna Prusarcyk and Helen Roskosky. Surviving are her twin sister Adele Wrobel and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 10:30am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main Street Sayreville followed by a 11am mass at Saint Stanislaus Kostka R. C. Church in Sayreville with burial to follow at Saint Stanislaus Cemetery, Sayreville.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations in Charlotte’s name be made to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis Tn. 38105
