Catherine DeCarlo Geletei, age 86 of Parlin, passed away peacefully at her home. Born in Uniontown, PA, she had resided in Parlin for many years. Before her retirement, Catherine worked security for Bamberger’s in East Brunswick and then in the ICU at South Amboy Hospital.
She is predeceased by her husband James in 2013, 4 brothers and 1 sister.
Surviving are her loving children Paula, Victoria, Maria (with whom she lived), James, Joseph, and Anthony, her 8 beloved grandchildren, 8 cherished great-grandchildren and many other relative and friends who will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be Friday 11am at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, with a burial to follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown NJ.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Thursday from 4pm to 8pm.
