Obituary for Catherine A Prasek
Catherine A. Prasek, age 78 of Englishtown, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 19th, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Born in NYC, she had lived in Brooklyn, NY before residing in Englishtown, NJ for the last 25 years. Catherine worked in NYC’s garment district for many years, and then later as a bookkeeper / administrative assistant for a local accounting firm before her retirement.
Catherine loved spending time with her family and friends. Vacationing and day trips she took with her family were most memorable. A day spent at the beach with her family brought great joy to her and were some of her most enjoyable and favorite times.
Catherine is predeceased by her father Carmine, and her mother Rose. Surviving Catherine is her loving husband of 50 years, Robert, her beloved daughter Robyn and her husband William Smith, and a host of other family and friends who will miss her presence dearly.
A Memorial Mass will take place on Saturday, March 25th, 2023 at 11 am at the Church of the Presentation, 271 W Saddle River Rd, Upper Saddle River, NJ 07458. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in memory of Catherine to a charity of your choice.
