Obituary for Carolyn A. Buttitta

Carolyn A Buttitta, age 91 of Parlin, born on July 25, 1931, to the late Pascual and Josephine Loverde passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Newark, she had lived in Parlin for many years. Carolyn was a dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Her great joy was spending time with beloved grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her loving husband James A Buttitta, her granddaughter Alexa Rae Lita, siblings Joseph, Frank, Peter, Mary, June, and Frances, and her son-in-law John A Delia.

Surviving are her 4 children and their spouses James A. Buttitta, Jr., Debra Delia, Cheryl and Charles Conner, and Carolyn and George Lita; her grandchildren and their spouses John Delia, Dean and Joy Buttitta, Tina Delia, Jennifer and Lenny Lolmaugh, Lacey Buttitta, and Rianna Lita; her great-grandchildren Alijah Williams, Tiana Williams, Cayla Buttitta, Lily Buttitta, Avery Delia, Sophia Lolmaugh, and Macie Lolmaugh; her great-great-granddaughter Nailea Pagan; as well as a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Calling hours at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin will be Sunday from 2pm to 6pm.

A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday at 9:30am at St. Bernadette RC Church in Parlin. Burial to follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
