Carol Ostrowski, age 84, of South River passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Perth Amboy, she has resided in South River for the past 55 years. Before her retirement, Mrs. Ostrowski was employed at Prudential for many years as an office clerk. She loved animals, especially cats, and she loved dancing. Carol’s children were her life, she sacrificed to make their lives better. She enjoyed going to Atlantic City with her husband Ed and traveling to Disney, Virginia, and Lake George. She was a social butterfly, who loved talking to people and being her friendly self to anyone she met. She will be missed greatly by her family.

Carol is predeceased by her adored husband of 53 years Edward as well as her parents Leon & Genevieve. Surviving are her loving children and their spouses Michele & Albert, Edward, James, and Bonnie & Steve; her beautiful grandchildren Sarah & Bradford; and her siblings Dorothy and Michael.

Funeral services will be held Monday May 1st at 10am at Corpus Christi RC Church in South River under the direction of the M.A. Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Avenue, South River.
