In loving memory of Carol Louise O’Chat, a beautiful soul whose love for her family was unending. In the early hours of May 23rd, 2023, Carol peacefully passed away, surrounded by her beloved family at Bayshore Medical Center. She was 73 years old.
Carol was born on April 3rd, 1950 in South Amboy New Jersey. She was the first child of Louise and Eugene Duggan. She attended Sayreville War Memorial High School prior to working at Revlon and later Sunshine Biscuit / Keebler for over 25 years.
Beloved wife of David P. O’Chat. Loving and devoted mother of David O’Chat (Mary Beth Grant) and James O’Chat (Catherine Randall). Cherished sister of Joseph Duggan, Eugene Duggan and his wife Dawn, and Patricia Duggan. Adored grandmother of Skylar O'Chat, Daniel O'Chat, Gabrielle O'Chat, and Brandon O'Chat. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Carol's love knew no bounds, extending to her family, friends, and even those she encountered in passing. Her kind and gentle spirit could make anyone feel cherished and special. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing that her love lives on in the lives of those she touched. We will forever miss the love and laughter she brought into our lives. Her selfless sacrifices and the profound impact she had on shaping who we have become will never be forgotten or taken for granted. Carol was not only a true friend to everyone but also a constant source of support, guidance, and unwavering love. Carol will be missed as deeply as she is loved.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, 8:45am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, NJ with a 9:30am Catholic Mass at St. Mary’s RC Church in South Amboy. Burial will follow at Christ Church Cemetery in South Amboy.
