Obituary for Bryan Scott Palmer

Bryan Scott Palmer
Bryan Scott Palmer age 33, passed away Tuesday July 16, 2019 at his parents home in Woodbridge. Born in Livingston he had resided in New Jersey for the majority of his life. Bryan was a proud US Army Veteran serving his country in Iraq and Afghanistan with the 82nd Airborne Division as well as the 10th Mountain Division. He served one tour in Iraq and two tours in Afghanistan. Bryan always aspired to be a soldier and served his country honorably. While deployed to Afghanistan, his FOB was visited by General Petraeus. The General was so impressed by Bryan, he awarded him his warrior coin. Bryan was loved by all that he served with.

Before his passing Bryan was employed as a Warehouse Manager for Automann Warehouse, Somerset. Bryan was an Eagle Scout, a member of the Civil Air Patrol, and a member of the American Legion Post 471 Iselin.

Bryan was a compassionate, funny, loving man who always put others ahead of himself; he had a contagious laugh and a wacky sense of humor. He lived for his two children and they meant everything to him. He enjoyed watching Emily engage with her baby brother, Ezra.

He went home to be with his Lord too soon. Bryan had a deep faith and he wasn’t ashamed to share his faith. He wore shirts that said, “I love Jesus but I cuss sometimes” and “Jesus loves me and my guns”. He had an app that sent him daily scripture to get him through the day. Before his first deployment, he had a paraphrase of Psalm 144:1-2 tattooed on his right arm.

He will be missed by so many people who loved him and this world will be a little less bright without him in it.

Surviving are his adoring wife Lisa Palmer, his two children Ezra Lawrence Palmer, Emily Monroe Palmer, his ex-wife Donna Vignapiano, his parents Lawrence and Carol Palmer as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
