Bruno R. Serafin, age 78 of Parlin, passed away peacefully at The Venetian Care Center in South Amboy. Born in New Haven CT, he had lived in Jersey City for many years before moving to Parlin in 2004. Bruno was a proud Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Before his retirement, he worked as a mail handler for the U.S. Postal Service in Secaucus. He was a communicant of St. Bernadette’s RC Church in Parlin.

Surviving are his loving wife of 53 years, the former Patricia Pacewicz, his cherished children Michelle Pandolfo and her husband James, Christopher Serafin and his wife Trina and his beloved grandchildren Gabrielle, Isabella, Brianna, Abigail and Lucas.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 8:45am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a 9:30am Mass at St. Bernadette’s RC Church in Parlin. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 3pm to 7pm
