Bruno Binda, age 93, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020, at Princeton University Medical Center, Plainsboro, N.J. Born in New York City he had resided in Parlin before moving to Manalapan 18 years ago. Before his retirement in 1986, he was Co-Owner of Washington Road Superette in Parlin for 30 years. Bruno proudly served his country during World War II in the U.S. Coast Guard and was a former member and Chief of the Sayreville Police Auxiliary.

He is predeceased by his wife Vincenza Bernardi Binda in 2017 and his son Gerard Binda in 2013. Surviving are his children and their spouses Carlo & Denise Binda, MaryAnn Binda and Adrianne & Greg Wojyn also his loving granddaughters Ashley Binda and Samantha Wojyn

All services are private due to the COVID-19 federal restrictions on public gatherings, under the direction of the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, NJ.
