Sayreville
Bohdan Basniak, age 66, of Sayreville passed away at his home on July 15, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Belgium, Bohdan was a Sayreville resident for the past 36 years. Before his retirement, Mr. Basniak worked as a Service Manager for Sansone. He was also a proud communicant of The Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption in Perth Amboy. Bohdan’s passion was always soccer, having played for many years as well as being a referee for the Middlesex County boys FIFA traveling teams.

He is predeceased by his parents Wasyl & Alexandra Basniak and his brother Wladimir Basniak. Bohdan is survived by his beloved wife Olga (Petryk) of Sayreville; his two loving children and their husbands Alicia & Daniel Berry of Sayreville and Andreya & Philip Agosta of Sayreville; and his loving grandsons Danny & Vinny.

Funeral services were private under the direction of Maliszewski Memorial Home, 121 Main Street, Sayreville, NJ 08872.
