Beryl A. Kanca, age 85, of Sayreville peacefully passed away at home on the morning of November 11, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Middlesex, England to the late Alfred and Phyllis Cochrane, Beryl immigrated to the United States and settled in New Jersey, where she raised her family. Before her retirement, Mrs. Kanca was employed as an office manager with Dr. Harold McKenna’s practice in South Amboy. Beryl was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear friend and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Beryl is predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph Kanca in 1996 and by her sister Barbara Tran. Surviving are her loving children Sheran Applegate and her partner David Boyd, Kenneth and his wife Gerianne , Steven and his wife Diane, and Robert and his partner Claudia; her siblings Angela O’Brien and Jeffrey Cochrane; her 9 dear grandchildren Rachel, Jennifer, Kenneth Jr, Megan, Kevin, Katlyn, Kiersten, Joey, and Zachary; as well as 10 wonderful great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10am on Wednesday morning at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin. Burial will immediately follow at Christ Church Cemetery in South Amboy.
