Arlene Mary Richelo (Naperkoski)

Arlene of Springfield passed away Sunday December 17th 2023 at age 87.
She is pre-deceased by her parents Edward and Hattie Naperkoski.
Born and raised in South River, Arlene was a communicant at St Mary Ostrabrama Church where she attended school, received her sacraments, served in the Sodality of Our Lady, sang in the choir, and developed many lifelong friendships.
Following her marriage to Gerard Richelo, on November 26th 1960, Arlene moved to Springfield NJ where she was a long-time parishioner at St James the Apostle. She volunteered and served on many ministries.
Arlene is survived by her loving husband Gerard, and her children Mary Elizabeth Richelo and Mark Edward Richelo.
Calling hours at Malizewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Ave., South River are on Friday December 22nd, 2023 from 8:00 am – 9:30 am with a 10:00am Funeral Mass at St Mary’s Church in South River. Burial will follow at St Mary’s Cemetery Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
