Obituary for Arlene E Baszak (Eck)
Arlene E. Baszak, age 57 of Aberdeen passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at her daughters home in Florida. Born in South Amboy she had resided in Sayreville before moving to Aberdeen 23 years ago. Arlene was fond of horses, she enjoyed music and most of all she loved spending time with her grandbabies. She had been through a lot these past 10 years but she was always a fighter. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is predeceased by her parents Louis and Greta Eck and her uncle Richard Luecke. Surviving are her husband of 38 years, James, her daughters Angela Baszak of FL, Christina Baszak of NC, Lauraann Baszak of Aberdeen, her son John James Kapec of Aberdeen, her grandchildren Dominic, Anthony, Mikey, Joseph, Michele and Christie, her brother Barry Eck and his wife Christine, her sisters Wendy Markley and Daryl Bentivenga and her husband Michael, her aunt Sheila Luecke, her mother-in-law Ann Baszak, her sister-in-laws and their spouses Edward and Tracey Baszak, Louise Baszak, Dawn Baszak, Mary and Robert Anderson and Sharon and Martin Tremarco, her sons-in-law Michael Antonello and William Swiatkowski, and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4pm to 7pm with a Prayer Service at 6pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin. A private cremation will follow. Due to current COVID restrictions, please note that a maximum of 50 visitors will be allowed inside the building at once and masks must be worn at all times. We encourage visitors to limit their time in the building to allow the family the maximum amount of guests possible.
