Morgan
Antonette T. Smykay age 91 of the Morgan section of Sayreville passed away Tuesday July 14, 2015 at Martin Memorial North, Stuart, Florida. Born in South Amboy she had resided in Morgan before moving to Hobe Sound, Florida 8 years ago. Mrs. Smykay was a communicant of Sacred Heart R. C. Church in South Amboy.
She is predeceased by her husband Tony in 2004, her son in law Ernest S. Rebak Jr. in 2012, her parents Joseph & Rose Paprota Wieczorek and her siblings Leon Wieczorek in 1984 and Veronica Jay in 2003. Surviving are her daughters Antonette (Toni) Rebak of Morgan and Jean Ann Fogel and her husband Morley of Tequesta, Florida, her grandchildren Joan Williams and Ernest T. Rebak and his wife Lisa, her great grandchildren Katharine & Ian Williams and Vincent & Julia Rebak, and her sister Julia Zagata of Sayreville.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Sunday from 2pm to 5pm.
Funeral services will be held Monday 10:30am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin followed by a 11am mass at Sacred Heart R. C. Church in South Amboy with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations in Antonette’s name be made to Saint Jude’s Research Hospital.
