Obituary for Anthony Gugliuzza

Anthony Gugliuzza, age 98 of Parlin, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021 at home with his loving family by his side. Born in Brooklyn Anthony living in Parlin for over 35 years. Mr. Gugliuzza was a proud Navy Veteran who served during WWII. Anthony was a giving man who helped so many in need. Anthony was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

Anthony is predeceased by his wife Nancy in 1996 as well as his parents Vincent & Rose Gugliuzza, his sister Dorothy Old and step-daughter Norean Ditoto. Surviving are his adored children and step children Vincent Gugliuzza, Theresa Wade, Wesley Gugliuzza, Bonnie Livingston, Douglas Livingston, and Gary Livingston, his 21 grandchildren, his 15 great-grandchildren, as well as his sister Gloria Finnigan and many loving cousin, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30am at St. Bernadette’s R.C. Church in Parlin under the direction of the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with burial to follow at N.J. Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
