Obituary for Anthony Gambilonghi
Anthony Gambilonghi, age 72 of Sayreville, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Syracusa, Sicily, he had emigrated to the United States in 1958 and lived in the Bronx, New York before moving to New Jersey 45 years ago.
Before his retirement, Anthony served as the Supervising Planner for the Middlesex County Planning Board where he worked for over 47 years.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 45 years Joyce Gambilonghi, his daughter and son in-law Melissa and David Reilly, his son Frank Gambilonghi, his grandson Luke Meeks and many other loving relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
Calling hours at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin will be held Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm.
