Anthony Drody
Anthony Drody passed away peacefully on NJ December 26, 2019 at RWJ Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ.
Anthony was born in Gaspe, Quebec on October 9, 1932 and lived in Toronto, Ontario before moving to the Madison Park Section of Old Bridge in 1968. He was employed as an Ironworker for 40+ years before his retirement and was a communicant of St. Bernadette’s RC Church in Parlin.
Anthony was predeceased by his wife, Constance, brothers, Gerald and Johnny and sisters, Olga, Kathleen and Mary Ellen.
Anthony will be greatly missed by his surviving children and their spouses, Elaine & Gary Treadwell, Marlene, David & Maria-Linda (Iso) and Terri & Michael Bloomer and his grandchildren, Christopher, Marian, William, Daniel, Shannon and Gabrielle and his brother, Joseph and sister, Brigid.
A visitation will be held at Carmen Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin, NJ on Friday, January 10, 2020 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm and a funeral service will be held in his hometown of Douglastown, Gaspe, Quebec in the summer of 2020 with the date to be announced.
We will all miss his sense of humor, listening to him play the fiddle along with his beloved brothers and sisters and watching him make some unbelievable pool shots like a pro.
