Anna   Carrion
Anna Carrion passed away on December 13, 2021 at her home in South Amboy. Before her retirement Anna worked as a master seamstress in Ney York and New Jersey. She was especially proud of her part in making the swimsuits worn by the United States Olympic Team. She will be remembered fondly as a loving mother and grandmother.

Anna is predeceased by her siblings, Robert Carrion, Carmen Carrion, Thomas Carrion and Madeline Carrion, her niece Anna Lugo and nephew Robert Carrion Jr. Surviving are her daughter Sonia Nixon, grandson Larry Nixon, sister and brother in-law Alice and Raul Aybar, her nieces and nephew Sandy Cortes, Theresa Rivera, Rhoda Cosme, Joanna Schooff and Douglas Carrion as well as her great nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Memorial Services for Anna will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021 from 3pm-7pm at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral home in Parlin, NJ. Please note that masks must be worn in the funeral home at all times, regardless of vaccination status. Funeral services are Tuesday 10:15 from the Spezzi Funeral Home,11am Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, South Amboy.
