Obituary for Ann Marie Reehill (Civitano)

Newfoundland, PA
Ann Marie Civitano Reehill, age 77 passed away October 12, 2015 at Regional Hospital of Scranton. Born in Bayonne, she had lived in Sayreville before moving to Pennsylvania eight years ago. Before her retirement, Miss Ann Marie was first a teacher and then manager of Oak Tree Village Nursery School in Parlin for 25 years. She was well loved and respected by all who worked with and for her.
Ann Marie was an avid tennis fan. Her favorite players were Serena Williams and Pete Sampras and she disliked any player who beat them! She was an amazing cook and loved to do so. Ann Marie put her heart and soul into everything she did and she lived life with great vigor.
She is predeceased by her parents Michael and Christine Civitano, her husband Raymond F. Reehill in 1987, her brother Michael, and her sister Rose Merletti. Ann Marie and her husband had a true bond that went beyond space and time. Their love for one another grew deeper with each year that they were together. They shared a great love for one another as well as family, food, children and faith.
Surviving are her son Raymond and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial funeral services will be Saturday 10:30am at Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville with a burial to follow at New Calvary Cemetery.
Funeral services are being held under the direction of the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin. As a former student of Miss Ann Marie, I, Meaghan Spezzi, am honored to direct her funeral this Saturday.
Flowers may be sent to Our Lady of Victories RC Church 52 Main Street Sayreville, however if you would like to make donations in Ann Marie’s name, please do so to the ASPCA Attn: Gift Processing Center PO Box 96929 Washington DC 20077
