Obituary for Andrew W "Andy" Stanislawczyk

Andrew W "Andy"  Stanislawczyk
Andrew “Andy” W. Stanislawczyk, age 69 of the Parlin section of Sayreville passed away Wednesday, January 6th 2016 at Overlook Hospital in Summit surrounded by his loving family. Born in South Amboy he was a lifelong resident of the area. As a well respected professional for 40 years in the shipping industry, Andy spent the last 16 years with Norton Lilly International and was a past president of the National Export Traffic League. He was also a retired Adjunct Professor at Middlesex County College. Andrew was a proud US Marine Corp Veteran serving during the Vietnam War and a communicant of St Mary’s RC Church in South Amboy. Andy had a charismatic personality and was loved and respected by his family and peers. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Constance and his beloved son Jeffrey Alan in 2009. Surviving are his cherished wife and best friend of 40 years, Judith (nee Hahn), his loving sons and their spouses Joseph Adam and Amanda of Sayreville and Jonathan Andrew and Toni of Keyport, his pride and joy, his grandchildren Benjamin Joseph, Jonathan Andrew Jr. and Charlotte Nicole, his siblings and their spouses Barbara and Leonard Nemeth, Christine Hoag and Maureen and William Henyecz all of Laurence Harbor, his sister in law Eleanor Mejia and her husband Juan, his brother in law Richard Hahn and many nieces, nephews and cousins who he loved.

Funeral services will be held Monday 9:45am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a 10:30am Mass at St Mary’s RC Church in South Amboy. Burial will follow at St Mary’s Cemetery in South Amboy.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in memory of Andrew Stanislawczyk to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center at www.giving.mskcc.org to support research
