Amelia Christodoulou Nafpliotis, age 80 of Sayreville, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Perth Amboy, she had resided in Sayreville for 45 years. A graduate of Perth Amboy High School and Bloomfield College, Amelia worked for many years as a social worker for the City of Perth Amboy. She was a member of Saint George Greek Orthodox Church in Piscataway.
She is predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Nicoletta Christodoulou, her brothers Louis and Peter Christodoulou, and her brother-in-law Steve Kallos.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 53 years, Emanuel Nafpliotis, her sister Ethel Kallos, her sister-in-law Maryann Siosolak Christodoulou, and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and Godchildren who will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be Monday 10:30am at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Piscataway, followed by a burial at Alpine Cemetery in Perth Amboy.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main St. Sayreville.
