Obituary for Alvin D. Rapoza

Sayreville
Alvin D. Rapoza, age 78 of Sayreville passed away peacefully at his home on March 29, 2017. Born in Hilo, Hawaii, Alvin was living in Sayreville for the past 2 years and Edison for many years prior to that. After graduating from Hilo High School in Hawaii, Alvin entered the National Guard as a sharpshooter and after enlisted in the US Air Force where he served as a weatherman. Mr. Rapoza most recently worked for Aramark and was based out of Piscataway VoTech as a food server and numerous other positions.

He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 39 years Patricia (Everly) Rapoza and his parents Alfred and Grace (Kaloi) Rapoza. Alvin is survived by his children and their spouses Lori & Glenn Formica of Parlin and Brian & Jenn Rapoza of Aberdeen; and his 3 loving grandchildren Taylor, Cole & Kaylynn.

Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday from 10am to 12pm with funeral services taking place on Monday, 12pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick.
