Obituary for Alice Fitzgerald (Foster)

Parlin
Alice Foster Fitzgerald, age 88 of Parlin, passed away Tuesday May 5, 2015 at JFK Hartwick in Edison. Born in The Bronx, NY, she had lived in Parlin for over 40 years. Before her retirement, Alice worked as a bus aid for the Borough of Sayreville for many years. Alice had taken in family and friends in need for many years, always taking care of those who needed anything. She also took care of all of her sisters children. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville.
She is predeceased by her husband Arthur in 1992, 2 brothers, & 6 sisters.
Surviving are her sons Steven, Edward and his wife Shelly, her grandchildren Edward Jr., Scott, Brian, Dennis, Danny, Steven Jr., John and Kelly, her great grandchildren Scott Jr., Edward III, Riley, Joseph, Thomas, Abigail, Dylan, Madison, and Austin and her sisters Patricia Daly and Helen Maguire.
Funeral services will be Friday 9am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with a 9:30am mass at Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville. Burial will follow at New Calvary Cemetery in Parlin.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 2pm and 4pm and 7pm and 9pm.
