Obituary for Alexander J Nagy

Alexander “Ally” J. Nagy, age 42 of the Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at his home. Born in Perth Amboy he had resided in Laurence Harbor for the past 25 years. He was employed as a general contractor for Finishing Touches Construction in Union Beach and previously as a Commercial Roofer for Local 4 Roofing in Parsippany for many years. He was an avid fisherman, liked to play poker, and most importantly loved spending time with his baby girl Rachel and his buddy Ryan. He will sadly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is predeceased by his father George James Nagy, Sr, his maternal grandfather Peter Wall Sr, and his paternal grandparents Alexander Joseph Nagy Sr. and Jennie Angel Nagy. Surviving are his wife of 11 years, Nicole Chmielewski Nagy, his children Rachel and Ryan, his mother Kathleen Nagy and Gregory Policastro, his brothers George Nagy Jr and his wife Caterina and James Nagy and his wife Gina, his grandmother Agnes Rupinski, his mother and father-in-law Patricia and Peter Wall Jr, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and good friends.

Funeral services will take place Monday, 9am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Ln, Parlin with a 10am Mass at St Lawrence RC Church in Laurence Harbor. Burial will follow at Christ Church Cemetery in South Amboy.
