Alan F. Heisinger Sr, age 74 of Sayreville, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at his home with his loving family at his side. Born in Pasadena, California Alan was raised in Long Branch, NJ where he lived for 30 years before moving to Sayreville in 1977. Before his retirement, Alan worked as a supervisor for Manhattan Welding in Hillside, NJ for 35 years. From the late 60's until he moved away, Al was a volunteer firefighter with Long Branch Independent Fire & Truck Co No. 2. He earned his private pilots license with instrument rating and will be remembered fondly for his love of flying and his passion for classic cars.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 51 years Rosemary Heisinger, his children Cindy and her husband Joe Szabo and Alan Heisinger Jr. and his fiancée Lori Ryan, his grandchildren Jonathan and Jessica Szabo and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Calling hours at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin will be Tuesday, April 6 ,2021 from 3pm to 7pm. Prayer services at the funeral home are Wednesday, April 7,2021 at 10am with entombment to follow at Holy Cross Burial Park.
