Obituary for Adam J Rosinski Sr.

Parlin
Adam J. Rosinski Sr., age 91 of Parlin, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Sayreville, he was a lifelong borough resident. Before his retirement, Adam worked for Hercules for several years and then as a mobile maintenance person for JCP&L. A proud US Army Veteran, Adam served in combat during the Korean War. He was a true patriot and served as a Past Commander and Past District Commander of the Sayreville VFW Post 4699, where he also served as a Captain of their Honor Guard for many years. He was also a member of the Sayreville American Legion Post 211, the Korean War Veterans and the Knights of Columbus Council 8478. Adam was a communicant of St. Bernadette’s RC Church in Parlin where he served as an usher for many years.
Adam was a true gentleman and soft spoken. He was always reliable and could be counted on to lend a helping hand. He loved game shows and trips to Atlantic City and a nice cold beer.
He is predeceased by his parents Benjamin and Victoria, his beloved wife the former Mary McCarthy known to many as “Lovie”, his brothers Joseph, John, Eugene, Leo, Phil, Benjamin, and his sisters Mary Fallon, Ann Rappleyea, and Stella Fallon.
Surviving are his son Adam Jr. and his companion Bonnie Bell, his sisters Frances Balka, Victoria Bright, his brother Steve and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday 8:45am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane with a 9:30am Mass at St. Bernadette’s Church followed by an entombment at St. Mary’s Cemetery in South Amboy.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 3:30pm to 7:30pm.
