Margaret “Peggy” Scully, age 96 years, of the Morgan section of Sayreville passed away Saturday February 10, 2018 at her home. Born in New York City she has resided in Morgan for the past 63 years. Mrs. Scully was an avid bingo player, enjoyed Atlantic City and also knitted and crocheted. Peggy was a communicant of Saint Lawrence R. C. Church in Lawrence Harbor section of Old Bridge.
She is predeceased by her parents Charles & Mary Eirand, her son Gary Iacouzzi, and her sisters Dorothy Gherhardt, Geraldine Perry and Mary Peterson. Surviving are her husband of 64 years Joseph A. Scully, her children and their spouses Carol Turner of Monroe Township, Gaynell & James O’Leary and Daniel & Chrisanne Scully all of Sayreville, 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday February 14, 2018 from 5pm to 8pm at the Carmen F Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with a 9am Mass to be offered on Thursday February 15, 2018 at Saint Lawrence R C Church in Lawrence Harbor followed by private cremation.
