Obituary for Veronica Woods
Veronica A. "Ronnie" Woods, beloved Godmother, Aunt,
Grand Aunt, and Great-Grand Aunt, was born in
Motherwell, Scotland and moved to Boston,
Massachusetts at an early age. She moved to New Jersey
to take a position in the Accounting Department of
Johnson and Johnson. She worked at J & J for over 30
years as an exemplary employee before retiring.
Ronnie settled in East Windsor, NJ in the Avon section of
Twin Rivers community, she served on the Executive
Board of the Home Owners Association for several years.
Veronica was a devoted communicant of Saint Anthony of
Padua in Hightstown, serving as treasurer of the Senior
Group.
Ronnie loved to travel, enjoyed spending time at the
beach, and was a fixture at family gatherings. Ronnie was
predeceased by her parents, Charles and Catherine, her
brothers, Charles, William, and Joseph, and her sister,
Pauline. Aunt Ronnie and her joyful and generous spirit
will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews,
grand, and great-grand nieces and nephews. Ronnie was
very proud of her family and their many accomplishmentsand world travels.
A funeral mass to celebrate Veronica’s life will be held on
Wednesday, November 29. Serviceswill be held at Saint
Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Hightstown,
NJ at 11: 00 am.
