Bartola Rosa Zarate, age 78 passed away on Saturday April 8, 2017 at JFK Hospital in Edison. Born in Peru, Bartola moved to the U.S. to raise her beautiful family. Bartola was one of a kind-she was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Bartola is predeceased by her parents Julio & Genoveva .
Surviving are her children Victoria Rosa Ciudad, Juan Carlos Ciudad, Elias Andres Ciudad, Rosa Amariles Solar and Luis Enrique Solar as well as her 5 beloved grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Prayer services will be held Monday 7pm from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin.
Calling Hours at the funeral home will be held Monday from 6pm to 9pm.
Burial will take place in Peru.
