Sayreville
Anna Shirley Yonkman Bailey, age 90 of Sayreville, passed away peacefully at her home. Born in Edison, she had lived in Sayreville for many years. Anna was the proud owner and operator of Bailey’s Luncheonette on Dane St in Sayreville for many years. She was a member of the Sayreville First Presbyterian Church where she was a member of their women’s group.
She is predeceased by her husband Kenneth Bailey in 1966, her daughters Jill Bailey in 2009 and Lois Wojcik in 2011, her brothers Henry and Arnold Yonkman, and her sisters Gloria Bohl and June Wangerier.
Surviving are her daughter Cynthia Toth and her husband Wilfred of Flemington, her son in law Kenneth Wojcik of Louisiana, her sister Janet Lowich, 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday 10am at the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main Street Sayreville. Burial will follow at New Calvary Cemetery in Parlin.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Monday from 6pm to 9pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church Sayreville 172 Main Street Sayreville, NJ 08872.
