Witali Cierpicki, 94, of South River, NJ/St Pete's Beach, FL passed away Tuesday March 28, 2017 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's. He was Born Feb.3 1923 in Belorus.
Witali moved to England after WWII where he met and was married to his first wife Zhenia. In 1951 they moved to South River, NJ where they lived happily for 41 years . He was fortunate to find love again in his second marrige to Irene Avdey for 23 wonderful years.

Witali was a devoted member of St Euphrosynia Belarusian Greek Orthodox Church and organizer of the church building committee and enjoyed being life long member of the choir. He retired from FMC Corp in 1988. He was an avid freshwater fisherman and loved traveling and hosting a party.
He is predeceased by wife Zhenia and brother Lev. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Nila and Ken Sims, wife Irene Avdey and her children Len & Carol, George & Cindy, Nina & Patrick and numerous grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 8:30am Saturday from the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Ave., South River with a 9am funeral service being offered St. Euphrosynia Belarusian Orthodox Church. Burial will follow at St. Euphrosynia Cemetery, South River.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm with Panahida service at 7:30pm.
