Obituary for Edward Joswick Jr.

Edward Joswick Jr., age 95 of Parlin passed away Wednesday, March 8th 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Bayonne, Edward was a World War II Navy Veteran. Before his retirement he was employed as a Technician, Repairman and Instructor for New Jersey Bell Telephone Company for 37 years.

He is predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Dolores, his daughter Judith Gargiulo, his parents MaryAnna and Edward Joswick Sr., and his 6 siblings. Surviving is his son Brian Joswick and his wife Marie, and his daughter MaryBeth Sarisky and her husband Barry. Also surviving are his many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 9am Monday at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a 9:30am Mass at St. Bernadette’s Church. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in South Amboy.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Edward’s name to the The Alzheimer's Foundation of America 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl. New York, NY 10001.
