Obituary for Eugene Kaluzny
Eugene Kaluzny
Eugene (Gene) Kaluzny, 82, passed away on February 28th, 2017 at the Venetian Care and Rehabilitation Center in South Amboy, NJ where he has been a patient for the last year and a half. He was born in South Amboy, NJ on October 7, 1934, the son of Andrew and Pauline (Mironowicz) Kaluzny. Eugene was a lifelong resident of South Amboy.
He graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic High School in South Amboy. He was of the Roman Catholic faith, attending Sacred Heart Church prior to his failing health. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in active duty for three years including two years in Germany.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Leonard.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Monday March 6th 2017 at Sacred Heart Church, 521 Washington Avenue, South Amboy. There will be a viewing from 9AM to 10AM on March 6th at the Carmen Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, NJ. Burial will be at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin, NJ.
