Old Bridge
Robert N. Berardi, age 88 of Old Bridge, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 19, 2017 at The Reformed Church Home. Born in Jersey City, he had lived in Lyndhurst for the past 45 years before moving to Old Bridge 7 years ago. After graduating from High School, Robert enlisted in the US Army and proudly served during WWII. After returning from active duty, Robert worked as an Iron worker. Robert will be missed by all who knew him.

Robert is predeceased by his parents Nicholas & Helen Berardi as well as his beloved wife Carolyn Steitz Berardi. Surviving are children and spouses Robert & Theresa Berardi of Parlin, William & Susan Berardi of Ellicott City, MD and Gary & Gina Berardi of Wayne as well as his 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 4pm to 8pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin. Funeral services will be held Friday 9am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin followed by a 9:30am mass at Our Lady of Victories R. C. Church in Sayreville. Private cremation to follow.
