Obituary for Cecile Marie Adamski
Cecile Marie Adamski, age 60 of New Brunswick passed away Monday, February 13th 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway. Born in Perth Amboy she had resided in New Brunswick for many years. She was employed as a specialist by the Middlesex County Board of Social Services in New Brunswick for over 30 years. Cecile treasured time with friends hosting frequent get-togethers at her house for pinocle, games or watching movies. She also enjoyed going out to the movies, lunch or dinner. She liked listening to jazz music and loved animals especially her dogs Mina and Jenny.
She is predeceased by her parents Leonard and Cecelia. Surviving are her sisters JoAnne Snider and Pamela Sloan and her husband Mark, her nephew Thomas Douglas Snider, her niece Erin Elisabeth Snider and many loving friends and co-workers who will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 11am at the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Ave., South River with a private cremation to follow.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Saturday from 9am to 11am.
The family would also like to especially thank Beverly, Chris and Debbie and all of her friends and coworkers who have been so devoted to her over the past year.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Cecelia’s name to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place,Memphis, TN 38105 or Jazz Station 88.3fm www.wbgo.org or to www.petsmartcharities.org.
