Obituary for Claire Shaluha (Zadorsky Kupsch)

South River
Claire (Zadorsky Kupsch) Shaluha, age 73 of South River passed away Saturday July 2, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Brunswick, she was a lifelong resident of South River. Claire was a former member of the South River School PTA and a former Girl Scout leader. She was a member of Sts Peter and Paul R.O. Church in South River.
She is predeceased by her parents John and Catherine Zadorsky, her first husband Wayne Kupsch in 1965, her second husband Joseph Shaluha in 1994, her granddaughter Marina Shaluha 2009 and her brother Peter Zadorsky in 2004.
Surviving are her children Kathleen Cooper and her husband Dave of South River, Robbin Kupsch of South River, Fr.Dn. Joseph Shaluha and his wife Kyra of Ohio, her grandchildren Wayne Hodges, David Cooper, Joseph and Genevieve Shaluha, her sister Sandra Bernat and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 12:30pm from the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Ave. South River with a 1pm service to follow at Sts Peter & Paul R.O. Church in South River. Burial will take place at Washington Monumental Cemetery in South River.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Panahida service will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday at 7pm.
